Jubileuszowa publikacja pt. Rodzina drogą Boga do świata” ukazuje niektóre prawdy dotyczące istoty Domowego Kościoła, jego struktury organizacyjne i formacyjne, nade wszystko zapisuje świadectwa z życia wielu członków, aby ktoś kto je przeczyta – zapragnął iść także  tą drogą. Aktywność Domowego Kościoła w archidiecezji katowickiej wyjęta z Kronik  Domowego Kościoła i zapisana w publikacji w liczbach i na fotografiach przenosi nas w przeszłość przypominając wydarzenia i twarze wielu ludzi Domowego Kościoła, którzy osiągnęli już Cel.

Świętując Jubileusz 50-lecia Domowego Kościoła możemy z nadzieją popatrzeć w przyszłość Kościoła i Narodu choć problemy widziane przez sługę Bożego Franciszka Blachnickiego w tamtym czasie w swojej ostrości się pogłębiły.

Może i dziś mówi nam to, co przed laty powiedział ks. Franciszek Blachnicki: „Realizując swoje powołanie na drodze programu Domowego Kościoła zasilajcie szeregi świętych małżeństw i rodzin żyjących na przestrzeni wieków oraz w trudnej współczesności, w której toczy się batalia o  kształt człowieczeństwa, rodziny i jej moralność, o nowe oblicze świata. Wy to wszystko przeżywacie i wygrywacie w zaciszu swoich domów, w rzeczywistości sakramentu małżeństwa, którego nie można zniszczyć z zewnątrz, jeśli będziecie wierni owemu „tak" wypowiedzianemu przed Chrystusem, w klimacie modlitwy i pozostałych zobowiązań małżeńskich. To wy, ciągle wy, budujecie Kościół domowy oraz podtrzymujecie „cywilizację miłości".

The Foundation aims to develop, catalog and make available the legacy of the priest prof. W. Myszor.
This valuable collection, numbering about 4,000 volumes, one of the few of its kind in Poland,
includes publications in the field of Gnosis, Manicheism, Hermeticism and related doctrines. As in
every library, and in this case in particular, the collection needs qualified people who know at least
one foreign language besides the Polish language: English, French, German, Russian, Latin, Greek or
Coptic.

If you are interested in the history of the ancient church, if you have some free time, if you are
looking for a place to pass internships, please contact us. For sure there will be a place for you in the
group of volunteers.
Qualifications:
Knowledge of computer skills and the ability to enter data into the electronic catalog. Most of the
work is done on site, but it is also possible to work on a computer at home. Students from history,
librarianship, and computer science are welcome, but many tasks do not require such qualifications.
We provide data entry training to the catalog.
We need a person:
Who speak foreign languages: English, French, German, Russian, Latin, Greek or Coptic
For work on developing, cataloging books and prints.
To work on developing, arranging and pagination of the archival collection.

The aim of the Center is to continue and spread broadly defined history of the ancient Church
research, including gnosticism and related fields; translation and development of Nag Hammadi
codes; English translation of Wincenty Myszor's publications), conferences, seminars, lectures
organization and publishing.

The Center includes its publications in the periodical Studia Antiquitatis Christianae. Series Nova

The Center is a part of the Department of Theology of the University of Silesia in Katowice and has
open and honorary status

The Center's scientific and organizational activities are coordinated with the authorities of the
Department of Patristic Theology and Church History.

The Center's work is directed by the chairman, elected for a determined time by its members,
approved by the Faculty Board of Department of Theology. Members are a an advisory body and may
be affiliated to different University of Silesia departments than Theological one . The chairman's term
of office lasts 3 years and may be reelected.

The Center's headquarter is located in Theological Library in Katowice at the Patristic Laboratory, at
17 Wita Stwosza Street, 40-042 Katowice.

The Laboratory collections include all books which were given to the Theological Library by prof.
Wincenty Myszor and other ones carved-out from the main collection of Theological Library.

The Center's equipment provided by the Theological Library remains under The Center's care.

The Center has its own website in Polish and in congress languages.
Under the auspices of the Center, there will be prepared theses on topics related to the Center's
program. The Center's members will be the theses' promoters.

The Center announces a competition for the best diploma thesis related to the subject matter of the
Center's interest, gives opinions and awards prizes to the awarded works

Members of the Center may make scientific research related to their affiliation, regardless of
research made at the Center.

The Center may cooperate in the scientific field with other university institutions.
